Both give you that expensive, sun-kissed look, but they are done differently and suit different tastes. Here is the difference, simply.
The Difference, Simply
- Balayage. Colour is hand-painted freehand through the mid-lengths and ends, so the lightness is soft, blended and scattered like natural sun. Regrowth is gentle, so you can go longer between salon visits.
- Ombre. A clearer graduation from a deeper root down to lighter ends, more of a defined fade than freehand painting. A bolder, more noticeable contrast.
Which Suits You
Choose balayage for low-maintenance, natural dimension. Choose ombre for a stronger root-to-tip gradient. We look at your length, your base colour and how much upkeep you want before deciding.
How We Protect The Hair
Lightening is only gentle when it is done right. We paint at the correct strength, add bond protection, and tone at the end so it reads soft and creamy, not brassy.
