Nail Extensions Cost in Dubai: What Your Quote Should Include

When you compare nail-extension prices in Dubai, ask for the total for the nails you actually want. The product, finish, existing extensions and design can all change the appointment being quoted.

At BellaPharma, acrylic and hard-gel full sets are listed at AED 249 with a Classic finish or AED 299 with Gelish, excluding 5% VAT. That makes the full-set service alone AED 261.45 or AED 313.95 including VAT. Removal and separately priced extras can increase the total. Check the current services and prices before booking.

Start with the same appointment

A full set creates your new extensions. A refill maintains an existing set as your natural nails grow, with the appointment depending on the product and condition of the nails. Comparing a refill price with a new-set price will give you a misleading impression of the saving.

Describe what is on your nails now, including whether another salon applied it. If you are unsure of the product, say so. Ask whether the salon can refill that set or needs to remove it and start again. A longer gap, lifting or repairs can change the work required.

If you are still deciding whether you need added length, read our guide to nail overlays and extensions first. This guide focuses on the cost once you know the appointment you want.

What should a full-set quote include?

Ask for these details in one message so you can check the complete appointment:

  • Product and service: acrylic or hard gel, and a full set rather than an overlay or polish application.
  • Length and shape: send a reference photo and ask whether the quoted price covers that length and shape.
  • Preparation: confirm what nail preparation and manicure work are included. Do not assume a separately listed manicure is part of every package.
  • Finish: specify Classic or Gelish, plus the colour or design you want.
  • Existing-product removal: identify what needs removing and whether that cost is included.
  • Extras and tax: request the final amount in AED, including agreed designs, repairs and VAT.

Also ask how much appointment time to allow. A quote based on bare nails and a simple finish may need revising when you arrive with an old set and a detailed design. Sharing those details beforehand helps the salon plan the visit.

Check design, removal and repair charges

An inspiration photo can show several separately priced elements. Identify whether you want the shape, French tips, chrome finish, artwork or all of them, and ask for the design total.

BellaPharma lists nail art at AED 10 per finger before VAT. Artwork on two fingers therefore adds AED 20 before VAT, or AED 21 including VAT, if that menu item applies to your chosen design. For a detailed reference, confirm the quote rather than assuming every design takes the same work.

Chrome and French/ombre tips have separate menu entries. Ask how each charge applies to your set and whether combining finishes adds more than one charge.

Removal also needs the correct description. BellaPharma lists extension removal at AED 99 and Gelish removal at AED 39, both before VAT. Tell the team whether you have extensions or a polish coating so the appropriate removal is booked. Ask separately about any broken nails; repair and replacement work can affect your total.

Make the VAT calculation once

Compare VAT-inclusive totals, especially when one salon’s menu includes tax and another lists it separately. BellaPharma’s published menu excludes 5% VAT. For the listed services, add the agreed charges together and multiply that subtotal by 1.05.

For example, a Gelish full set at AED 299 plus nail art on two fingers at AED 20 totals AED 319 before VAT. Adding AED 15.95 VAT gives AED 334.95. This example assumes those are the only agreed charges; existing-extension removal or other extras would be additional.

Ask for the final total before treatment starts, including any change agreed after the technician assesses your nails.

Budget beyond the first full set

For ongoing wear, compare the cost of the first appointment, your return visits and eventual removal. BellaPharma’s service page suggests refills every two to three weeks; confirm a suitable return plan for your own set.

  • One acrylic full set: AED 249
  • Two Classic overlay/acrylic refill appointments: AED 298 combined
  • One extension-removal appointment: AED 99
  • Total: AED 646 before VAT, or AED 678.30 including VAT

This is a four-appointment example, not a package or monthly price. It assumes the existing set remains suitable for those refills and excludes designs, repairs and other extras. Using AED 299 for a Gelish full set and AED 199 for each eligible overlay/acrylic refill, the equivalent example totals AED 835.80 including VAT.

The refill menu is labelled “Refill Overlay / Acrylic.” Confirm the refill price for a hard-gel set rather than assuming that entry covers it. Your actual maintenance cost depends on the appointments you need.

Questions before you book

Is the advertised full-set price my final bill?

Only when it covers your chosen finish and every required extra, with VAT accounted for. Ask for an itemised total if you need removal, repairs or a design.

Is a refill always cheaper than a new set?

BellaPharma’s listed overlay/acrylic refill prices are lower than its full-set prices. Whether a refill is appropriate, and whether extras apply, depends on your existing set. Confirm both before booking.

What should I send for a quote?

Send a current nail photo, your reference design, preferred length and shape, and details of any existing product. Mention your preferred date and ask for the appointment time and VAT-inclusive total.
